Power out

Power was out the whole day today and we just sat around talking. I had a chance to talk to my son about certain things and I think it did not go over very well. It is not easy to talk to children. I remember I did not really care for what my father said to me, it was too corny, too dated, too familiar. This is the curse of family. Talking, communicating, getting feelings across is always difficult and that should not be the case. When children are younger it is very easy. They ask too many questions and you feel that they will never stop asking. Then they grow up and nothing you say means anything anymore to them.
